Sri Manjunath Service Centre is tucked away at 135 Bapuji Nagar. If you’ve spent any time in Bangalore, you know how these streets can be crowded and noisy. We’re right in the middle of it all. This place is mostly about getting your hands dirty and fixing things. We’ve been here for a good long while. There’s always a row of bikes or vehicles lined up outside waiting for attention. The smell of engine oil and old tires is pretty much permanent in the air around here. We don't have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning or magazines. People usually just stand around outside or go get a coffee at the corner while we look at their machines. It’s a noisy spot with tools clanking and people shouting over the traffic noise. We’ve got a small team of guys who really know their way around an engine. They don't say much to customers, they just get to work. Bapuji Nagar has its own vibe, very busy and crowded, but we like being here. We know most of the people who come in by their first names because they live nearby. It’s a neighborhood garage through and through. We deal with all sorts of mechanical headaches every single day. Some days are longer than others, especially when a tricky job comes in late in the evening. We just do what needs to be done so people can get back on the road. It’s a simple life.
