Sri lakshmi Venkateshwara Nursery Garden

You can find Sri lakshmi Venkateshwara Nursery Garden out in the Jigani Industrial Area. We’re located near Bhushan Niwas, right by where they make the S T B concrete blocks and chamber bricks. It’s a dusty area because of all the construction material around, but our garden is a bit of green in the middle of it. We have lots of pots lined up on the ground. There are flowering plants, some fruit trees, and plenty of decorative shrubs. We spend our days watering them and making sure the soil is okay. It’s hard work being out in the sun all day, and our clothes usually have mud on them. We don't have a big office, just a small shed where we keep the tools and seeds. People come by in their trucks or cars to pick up plants for their factories or homes. We help them load the heavy pots into their vehicles. It’s a quiet place except for the sound of the nearby brick factories. We grow a lot of the plants ourselves from cuttings. Sometimes the bugs get to the leaves, and we have to spend time cleaning them off. It’s not a polished landscaping business, just a nursery where we grow things. We have a couple of dogs that hang around the gate. We stay until the sun goes down and then lock up the fence. It is a lot of digging and carrying, but it works.
