Sri Kalyani Enterprises

Shanthi Nagar is where we’ve set up shop, specifically at 33 Siddah Road on the 3rd Cross. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always someone walking by or a scooter zooming past our door. We run Sri Kalyani Enterprises as a straightforward small business. The space inside isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we stack the boxes to make sure we can still walk through. I’m usually the one opening up in the morning and sweeping the front step. We deal with various items, and our customers are mostly people from the surrounding areas or regulars who have been coming to us for many years. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around during the day. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, and the neighbors complain, so we try to be quick about unloading everything. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we know where everything sits on the shelves even in the dark. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of guys who help with the heavy work. It’s a simple life running a shop in Shanthi Nagar. We don't use any fancy software to keep track of things; we just use a ledger and our memory to know what is in stock. It feels like home after being here for so long. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay on top of the orders that come through. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we get things done eventually.
