Sri Guru Prints

Sri Guru Prints is over at number 98 on the 4th Cross in Hanumanth Nagar. We are also near the 6th Cross on the Railway Parallel Road. You can hear the trains passing by all day long, which makes the whole building shake a little bit sometimes. The shop is filled with the smell of ink and the sound of paper being fed through the machines. We have stacks of paper everywhere, from thin sheets to thick cardstock. It’s a bit of a mess most of the time because we’re constantly cutting and trimming things to size. The light inside isn’t the best, so we use some extra lamps over the workstations. We do a lot of small jobs for the people in the neighborhood, like printing flyers or binding documents. The machines are old and sometimes they jam, which takes a while to fix. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working the printers and answering the door. Hanumanth Nagar is a quiet enough area until the school nearby lets out and the kids start walking past. We just stay focused on getting the colors right and making sure the edges are straight on the cutter. It’s regular work, and we don't try to make it seem like anything more than what it is. If you need something printed, we just get it done and move on to the next pile of paper waiting on the counter.
