Sri Ganesh Chemicals

Sri Ganesh Chemicals is located right in Malleshwaram, at number 17. Malleshwaram is one of those older parts of the city where everything feels familiar. Our shop isn't very large. We keep a variety of containers and jugs filled with different chemicals used for cleaning or small-scale manufacturing. It’s a very functional space. We’ve got shelves lining the walls from floor to ceiling. Most days, it’s just me and one assistant handling the orders. We wear gloves and masks when we’re pouring things out because some of the stuff is quite strong. The smell of the shop is hard to describe, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We don't do much advertising. People in the neighborhood just know where we are. We've been at 17 Malleshwaram for quite some time now. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but inside it's usually just the sound of glass bottles clinking or the fan humming. We write out our receipts by hand most of the time. It’s a simple way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone needs something, they just walk in and ask. We try to be helpful and tell them which chemical works best for what they’re trying to do. It’s just a small local business trying to stay steady. We like the routine of opening up every morning and seeing the same faces on the street. It’s just life at number 17 for us.
