Sri Durga Time Centre

We’ve been here in Yelahanka for quite some time now, right across from the post office on BB Road. It’s a busy spot with people coming and going all day long. Most people know us because they stop by when their watch stops working or they need a new battery put in. We handle all sorts of timepieces, from the old mechanical ones that have been in families for years to the newer digital ones kids wear. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with parts and tools, but that’s just how we work. It’s not a fancy place, just a small shop where we try to get things ticking again. You can see the post office from our front door, so we are easy to find. We spend most of our time looking through those little magnifying glasses at tiny gears. It’s quiet work even if the road outside is noisy with traffic. We don’t do big advertisements or anything like that. People just walk in when they have a problem with a clock or a strap that’s worn out. It’s a simple living and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors over the years. We keep the shop open regular hours, though sometimes we step out for a tea break across the street. If you are near the Yelahanka post office, you’ve probably seen our sign hanging there. We just keep doing what we do, one watch at a time.
