Our office is tucked away in E Block of Sahakara Nagar, right at number 9. It’s a quiet enough corner compared to the main roads, but there’s always something going on with the building projects we have lined up. The space here is filled with the usual things you’d expect from builders—blueprints rolled up in corners, samples of tiles lying around, and plenty of pens that never seem to work when you need them. Most days, we are either out at a site or sitting here trying to figure out schedules. It’s a small team, so everyone knows what the other is doing. We don’t have any big corporate meetings; we just talk across the desks about what needs to be fixed or which supplier is running late. Sahakara Nagar has grown so much since we first started here, and being in E Block feels like being part of a real community. We see the same neighbors every morning. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, and we have to walk down the street to get some tea. It’s a practical way of working. We handle the development stuff and the construction details without much fuss. If you walk past number 9, you’ll likely see one of us leaning over a drawing or talking to a foreman on the porch. It’s just how we run things, day in and day out, making sure the houses get built.
