Sree Rama Enterprises

Our place is located at 161/2 in the 12th Cross of Peenya 4th Block. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know it is mostly factories and workshops. It’s noisy and there is always some kind of machine humming in the background. We started Sree Rama Enterprises here because it’s central for the kind of industrial work we do. The 4th Block is particularly packed with small units, and our spot is right in the middle of it. Every morning, the shutter goes up and the tea guy comes around first thing. We spend most of our time dealing with parts and coordinating with other local shops. The space inside is tight because we have a lot of equipment taking up the floor. It’s not the cleanest environment, but it’s a working shop, so grease and metal scraps are just part of the scenery. We have a few old chairs for when someone stops by to talk business. Most of the people we deal with are from the same few streets. We’ve seen the area change over the years, with new sheds going up where there used to be empty plots. The 12th Cross can be a bit tricky to navigate when the big lorries are parked on both sides, but we manage. We don’t really do much advertising; people just find us because we’ve been here at this address for so long and they know our faces well enough by now.
