Sports Authority Of India

The Sports Authority Of India facility is located right near Bangalore University. It is a sprawling place with plenty of open space for various sports activities and training. We handle a lot of the administrative work that goes into managing sports and regional training programs here. The office is usually a bit chaotic with papers everywhere and coaches coming in to talk about their specific schedules. You can see athletes out on the tracks or the fields from almost every window in the building. It’s a government setup, so there are always forms to fill out and records to keep in order. The buildings are a bit older and could use a fresh coat of paint, but they serve the purpose well enough. We don't have any marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the equipment is available and the grounds are kept in decent shape for the athletes. It gets very busy when there are trials or local competitions happening on the weekends. On those days, the noise level goes way up and we often stay late to finish the logs. We have a small canteen where we all grab lunch and talk about the latest games. It’s a functional environment rather than a comfortable one. We just do our part to keep the programs running.
