We are based out of Bangalore, working alongside P. Muthusamy, who handles the structural engineering side of things. The city is always changing, with new buildings going up everywhere you look. Our workspace reflects that. It’s full of structural models, technical books, and a lot of half-finished coffee mugs. Being in Karnataka gives us a lot of opportunities, but it also means we stay very busy. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of people in suits greeting you at the door. Usually, you’ll find us hunched over a computer or a large table looking at building frames. It’s quiet work that requires a lot of concentration. We’ve spent years learning the ropes and dealing with the specific challenges of local construction. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, and we end up staying later than we planned. The office isn't perfectly tidy, but it's functional. We prefer to spend our time on the actual calculations rather than on marketing ourselves. People usually hear about us through word of mouth. We just try to be reliable and get the technical details right every time. Bangalore can be a loud place, but once we’re inside working on a design, things settle down. We’re just a small team of engineers and consultants doing our part in this big city. It’s not complicated, just hard work. We do our best to make sure the structures we look at are solid and practical. Working here keeps us humble and always learning something new.
