You can find us at 67 Ulsoor Road. It’s an old part of the city, and the building we are in has that classic look to it. Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corpn. Ltd. is a long name, so we mostly just call it SPIC around the office. Being on Ulsoor Road means we have some nice trees nearby, which helps with the heat. The office itself is pretty functional. We have rows of desks and some old wooden cabinets for the files. It isn't one of those modern open-plan places where everyone is on top of each other. We have our own spaces and it’s generally quite professional but relaxed. We don't wear suits unless there’s a big meeting. Most days it’s just trousers and shirts. We deal with a lot of heavy industry stuff, but here it’s mostly the administrative and planning side of things. We have a small canteen where we get our lunch, and the food is usually pretty good. Sometimes we walk down towards the lake if the weather is nice after work. The traffic on Ulsoor Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we often stay a bit late just to avoid the worst of it. It’s a solid place to work, and we’ve got a good group of people here who just want to get the job done.
