Our place, South India Wire Products Pvt Ltd, is at number 17, J2 in the Peenya Industrial Area 2nd Phase. Peenya is a huge industrial hub, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. It’s a dusty part of town, but that’s just how industrial areas are. Our shed at 17, J2 is quite large. We have the machines running for most of the day. It gets pretty loud, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. South India Wire Products Pvt Ltd has been operating here for many years. We have some workers who have been with us since the 2nd Phase was much quieter. The office is just a small room at the front of the factory. It has a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet that sticks when you try to open it. We don't have air conditioning in the main area, just some big fans that move the air around. Peenya Industrial Area is not a place for tourists. It’s a place for hard work. We start early to beat the heat. By the time the afternoon comes, everyone is ready for a tea break. We get our supplies delivered right to the door of 17, J2. It’s a straightforward business. South India Wire Products Pvt Ltd is just about making things and getting them shipped out to wherever they need to go.
