Soundar Rajan

I’m Soundar Rajan, and I’ve been running things from this spot at Ramamurthy Nagar 44/1 for quite some time now. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or a receptionist sitting at a desk. It is just a simple space where the work actually happens. You can find me here most mornings before the sun gets too hot, usually with a cup of tea in hand while I look over the day’s tasks. Ramamurthy Nagar is a busy place, and the traffic outside can get pretty loud, but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of us getting things done. We aren’t interested in those big corporate ways of doing business where nobody knows your name. Here, everyone is a neighbor. I started this because I wanted to work for myself and provide something useful to the people living around here. It has been a long road with plenty of ups and downs, but we are still standing. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit mismatched, but that doesn’t stop the work from being finished on time. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. It’s just me and the small crew I’ve had for years. We handle things one day at a time, making sure everything is done right before we lock up the shutters and head home for dinner.
