About Sony Camera Service Station – Safety & Security in Bengaluru
We set up our shop on Sardar Patrappa Road, directly across from Ankith Infotex. It’s a good location because people can find us easily when they have trouble with their gear. We call it Sony Camera Service Station. It’s basically a workshop. We spend hours hunched over benches with magnifying glasses and tiny screwdrivers. Cameras are delicate things, and they don't like dust or being dropped. We see a lot of both here. We don't have a polished front office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is working on a camera will just step out and talk to you. We like it that way because the person fixing it is the one you’re talking to. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty despite our best efforts, and there’s always a stack of parts waiting to be sorted. We don't have any big speeches about how we work. We just take the camera apart, find the broken bit, and try to put it back together better than it was. Some days are long, especially when a repair is stubborn. But we’ve been doing this for a while and we know the quirks of these machines. It’s honest work that requires a lot of patience. People appreciate that we don't try to overcomplicate things. If it can be fixed, we do it. If not, we tell you why. That’s how we operate here on Sardar Patrappa Road.
