Sonny'S Carpets & Furnishing

Our shop is located at 199 on T.T.K. Road in Alwarpet. It's been in this spot for quite some time. We have piles of carpets and different types of furnishings all over the floor. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through the aisles because there’s so much stock. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical space where you can actually touch the fabrics. People around Alwarpet know us as the place where you can find something decent for your house without a lot of fuss. We get new rolls of material in every other week. My hands are usually dusty from moving rugs around all afternoon. It’s physical work, but it’s what we do. We don’t really have a sales pitch. If you like a pattern, you like it. The building itself is older, and the sign outside has seen better days, but the carpets inside are solid. We handle everything ourselves, from unloading the trucks to helping people load things into their cars. T.T.K. Road gets really busy during rush hour, so we see a lot of cars passing by. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving. There isn't a team of decorators here, just us and the stock we’ve collected. It’s simple and it works for us and the people who shop here. We usually close up around seven once the traffic dies down a little.
