Sonex Metal Finishing India has its registered office at 60A C.I.L. Colony in Sanjayanagar. It is a bit of a quiet area compared to the main roads, which is nice when you are trying to concentrate. The work we do involves metal finishing, so the shop floor is usually where all the action is. It is not the cleanest job in the world, you tend to get a bit of grit on your clothes by the end of the shift. The building at 60A has been our base for a while now. C.I.L. Colony is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it, but we like the neighborhood vibe. Inside, there is the smell of metal and whatever chemicals we are using for the finishing process that day. We have some heavy racks for the parts and the machinery takes up most of the room. It’s a practical space, not meant for hosting fancy visitors. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we don't have to deal with long commutes, which is a big plus. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the driveway because the street is a little narrow, but we always manage to make it work. We just take things as they come and try to keep the workflow steady. It’s just a group of us doing the same thing every day, making sure the metal looks right before it goes out.
