Somindra Communications Ltd

Somindra Communications Ltd is up on the third floor of the Veena Complex. It's right there in Winners Court, near Pavitra Paradise, so most people don't have too much trouble finding where we are located. Taking the stairs up three flights is good exercise, though some of us complain about it when the lift is acting up again, which happens more often than we would like. We’ve got a decent view of the street from up here, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. The office is usually a bit noisy because of the communication work we do. There's always someone on the phone or a machine humming away in the corner. We deal with a lot of different clients, and the paperwork can really pile up on the desks if we aren't careful about filing things away. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the job at hand. The office isn't decorated with anything special, just some old calendars and maybe a plant that someone forgets to water. We spend a lot of our time troubleshooting and making sure all the connections are working right for everyone. It’s one of those jobs where you don't really notice everything is fine until something stops working. That's when we get really busy and have to work through lunch. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for many years. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to do their job.
