We are located at Dickenson Road S 421. It’s an old building, but it works for us. Somaya & Kalappa Consultants Pvt Ltd is really just a bunch of us sitting around tables covered in plans and notes. The floors creak when you walk across the room. We spend a lot of hours debating the right way to handle a project. It’s not always quiet; there’s usually a lot of talking and the sound of coffee being made. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. Mostly it's just calendars and maybe a few old photos from years ago. Dickenson Road can get quite congested, so we usually see the same faces stuck in traffic outside our window every afternoon. We try to be straightforward with everything we do. No big words or trying to sound more important than we are. If something is going to take a week, we say it’ll take a week. Our office cat usually sleeps on the printer, which is a bit of a problem when we need to use it. We've been doing this for a long time now. We know the ins and outs of the consulting world, but we still feel like a small local shop. It’s just how we like it. The 421 spot has its quirks, like the light switch that only works if you flick it twice, but we are used to it all by now.
