Soma Enterprise Limited

Down here in Guntur, Soma Enterprise Limited operates out of a space that feels pretty lived-in. We are located near Somaiah’s place, which is a bit of a landmark for those of us who have lived here forever. Andhra Pradesh can get incredibly hot during the summer months, so our office is usually a bit of a refuge from the sun. It is a straightforward setup with basic furniture and a lot of papers everywhere. We do not really go for the corporate look. Instead, we have some calendars on the walls and a water cooler that gets a lot of use. The work keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of the staff live nearby, so there is a lot of local talk about the crops and the weather while we handle the daily tasks. We have been part of the community here for a long time. It is not the kind of place where you need an appointment or a badge to walk in. We just handle what needs to be done and try to keep things moving. The rhythm here is slow but steady. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is just the way things go in this part of Guntur.
