Solaris Fitness World

Solaris Fitness World is way up on the sixth floor of the Salarpuri Nova building on Old Madras Road. Being that high up, you get a decent view of the metro station right across the street, and you can watch the trains coming and going all day. The Big Bazaar is in the same building, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise coming from the lower levels. It is a big space, but it still gets crowded because of the location. The elevator can be a bit of a wait, especially on weekends when the shoppers are out. Inside, the equipment is lined up in rows, and we have those big windows that let in a lot of light, which is nice until it gets really hot in the middle of the day. The mirrors are always getting smudged, and the staff is usually busy moving stuff around or wiping down the cardio machines. It’s a practical spot for people living along the metro line who need a place to stop on their way back from the office. There’s nothing particularly special about the decor, just the usual gym stuff and some clocks on the wall that aren't always synced up perfectly. People just come in, do their thing, and head back down to catch their train or grab some groceries from the supermarket downstairs.
