Sobha Developers is run from a spot near the A.P.R. School over in the Simhachalam area of Visakhapatnam. Since the school is right there, the place gets quite busy in the afternoons with kids running around. Ravikumar is the one usually handling things at this location. Our setup is small and lacks the polish of those big corporate offices in the city center. It is more of a practical space where we can focus on the projects we have going on. Because the weather in Vizag gets really humid, we usually have the fans going full blast all day long. A lot of our time is spent talking to people and checking on how things are moving along with our work. Being in Simhachalam feels nice because it is a real community. You see the same faces every day at the local shops. Instead of fancy systems, we just use our notebooks and a couple of computers that sometimes run a bit slow. Having been at this for some time, we know the area pretty well now. If you are walking past the school, you will probably see our door open. We stay pretty busy with different development tasks, but there is always time for a quick chat with a neighbor. This simple way of working suits us just fine. Every morning we just show up and take it one day at a time here. We just want to get the work done right.
