Over at Maruthi Nilaya in the K.E.B Layout, you’ll find our office. We are located in Vivekananda Nagar, which is part of Bsk 3rd Stage here in Bangalore. Sobha Developers has been part of this 560085 zip code for a good stretch of time. The building itself is at number 37, and it’s usually easy to find if you know the layout. We aren't the kind of people who sit behind desks all day. Most of the time, we are out at the sites making sure the concrete is pouring right or the wiring is being handled properly. It’s a lot of physical work and a fair bit of coordination. We talk to the suppliers, we talk to the guys on the ground, and we try to keep everyone moving in the same direction. It’s not always easy, and sometimes things get delayed, but we deal with it as it comes. We prefer to keep our English simple and our plans even simpler. There’s no need to overcomplicate a building. It just needs to be solid and fit the space. Folks in Vivekananda Nagar seem to appreciate that we don't put on airs. We’re just local workers who happen to know a lot about development. If the gate is open, we’re probably inside looking over some new sketches or checking the receipts. We like the work we do and we like this neighborhood.
