Our place is called Kalathottam House and we are located in Moolamcode. It’s near the Kizhakkencherry post office in Palakkad. If you know this part of Kerala, you know it gets quite windy because of the gap in the mountains. We are right in the middle of all that. The house is an old one, with thick walls that keep it a bit cooler when the sun is beating down. We use the front rooms for our work. There are always some boots near the door because we’re often out in the fields or at construction spots. Palakkad is a rugged place, and our office reflects that. It’s not fancy. We have wooden benches and a couple of old fans that creak a lot. We handle a lot of the local development from here. The neighbors are mostly farmers or people who have lived here for generations. We fit right in. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we have to wait a while to send out the emails. We don't mind. It gives us time to have another cup of coffee. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a few of us making sure the projects get done. If you visit, you’ll probably find us arguing over a map or a set of drawings. That’s just a normal day at the house.
