Our office is tucked away in Flat D, Block 4 of Phoenix Gardens. Vignananagar is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to the roads in this part of Bangalore. We are in the -75 postal area. It’s a residential complex, so it doesn’t really feel like a workplace in the traditional sense. We like it that way because it’s quieter than being right on a main road. You have to talk to the security guard at the gate to get in, and then find Block 4. The elevator works most of the time, but we usually just take the stairs since we aren't on a high floor. Inside, it’s just a standard flat that we converted into an office. We have the computers set up in what used to be the living room. There’s always someone coming or going because we spend a lot of time out at different sites. The kitchen area is where we keep the water cans and the snacks. It gets a bit cramped when the whole team is here for a meeting, but we manage. It’s a practical way to run things without paying for a huge commercial building. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we talk too loud, so we try to keep it down. We’ve been here for a while and don’t plan on moving anytime soon. It’s just how we do things.
