Our office is tucked away in the Vatsalaya building, right on 9th Cross in Bangalore. Being in the 560025 area means we deal with a fair amount of the usual city traffic, so most of us try to get in early before the roads get backed up. The building itself feels more like a home than a big corporate block, which we actually prefer. We have a small crew working out of here. There’s always someone running around with rolls of drawings or checking schedules on their laptops. It gets pretty busy, especially when a new project phase starts and everyone is trying to coordinate at once. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. The space is filled with desks that are usually covered in paperwork, half-empty coffee mugs, and various samples of building materials. It's a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how we work. Outside, the lane is relatively narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache if you’re coming by car. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and it serves us well for keeping track of what’s happening in this part of town. It’s a practical place for a practical job. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks one by one.
