Down in Madiwala, specifically over at No. 104 on 14th Cross in Maruthi Nagar, is where you will find our Sobha Developers Ltd team. This part of Bangalore is always moving, and our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a busy street, so there is always something going on outside our window. We use this space as our main hub for coordinating the local building sites. It’s not a very big place, just a few rooms filled with desks and cabinets for our project files. We started out here with just a couple of people and it has grown a bit since then, though it still feels like a small operation on the inside. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. Most of the day is spent on the phone or working through the technical drawings for the new apartments. The walls are a bit bare, and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We like being in Madiwala because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a nightmare during rush hour. We just focus on getting our tasks done and making sure the construction schedules are being followed. It is honest work and we take it one day at a time without any fuss. Sometimes the tea runs out before noon, but we just keep going anyway and focus on the next deadline.
