The office is over here at 9/2 on 10th Cross in Someshwara. Bangalore traffic is something else these days, so most of us get in a bit late or way too early to beat the rush. It is a busy spot. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors who come in and out all day. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just open the windows and keep going. There is a small tea shop around the corner where we get our morning fix. Most people here have been working together for a while now, so it feels okay, even when things get hectic with the paperwork. We don't really do anything fancy in the office. It’s just desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. You can hear the noise from the street clearly from the front room. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction happening nearby in the city, but that is just how it is. We usually head out for lunch around one. Someshwara is a decent area to work in, though parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We keep a few extra chairs in the back in case someone drops by to talk about a project. It is mostly just about getting the work done and making sure the numbers on the pages match what is happening on the ground.
