Working out of Ag’s Colony in Anandanagar is actually quite nice compared to the more congested parts of Bangalore. We are located at number 20. It feels more like a neighborhood than a business district, which suits us just fine. Most mornings start with a walk to the office and seeing the same people heading to their own jobs. Inside, it’s mostly just us at Sobha Developers Limited dealing with the usual day-to-day tasks. We have a lot of files and maps spread out across the tables. It’s not always the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat down. We don’t have a big receptionist or a waiting area because we’re usually too busy to sit around. People stop by to drop off materials or ask about progress on the sites. Sometimes we have meetings that go on too long and we end up ordering snacks from the place down the road. It’s a practical way to run things. We focus on the building side of things rather than looking polished. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really cares as long as the work is getting done. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and it feels like home. It’s just a regular office for regular people who happen to build things for a living.
