Our shop is at No. 107 in the New Timber Yard Layout, right off Mysore Road near the Avalahalli Cross. It is an area with a lot of history and old trees, though it is getting much more crowded with every passing year. We do graphics and printing work. We have these big wide-format printers that take up most of the floor room. The smell of ink and vinyl is everywhere, but we do not really mind it anymore. This has been our life for a long time now. We started with one small machine and just slowly added more as we could afford the payments. We do not have a fancy showroom with samples on the wall. Mostly, people just send us their digital files and we print them on whatever material they need for their signs. Sometimes it is large banners, other times it is just small stickers for products. We have a small plastic table in the corner where we eat lunch and talk about the daily news. The guys working the machines have been here for years and they know the quirks of every piece of equipment we own. Mysore Road is always loud with heavy traffic, so we keep the doors shut most of the afternoon. We are not trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do the work that comes in today and go home to our families. It is a simple business. We focus on the colors and making sure the alignment is not crooked.
