Sms Logistics Pvt. Ltd. operates out of the basement floor in A-Block of Sns Arcade, which is right on Airport Road. Being in the basement means we don't get much sun, but it stays cooler than the upper floors, which is nice in the summer. Sns Arcade is a big building and it can be a bit confusing to find our B-2 unit at first. We have a lot of paperwork moving through here because of the nature of the business. There are always files being stacked and logs being checked. It’s a bit of a maze with all the desks and cabinets we’ve squeezed in. Since we are on Airport Road, we hear the heavy traffic and the planes overhead all day long. It becomes like background music after a while. We don't have any polished floors or expensive art on the walls. It’s just a working office where we keep track of things and make sure everything is where it should be. The lighting is all fluorescent, which gives the place a specific kind of feel. Most of the staff has been here long enough that we don’t really notice the quirks of the building anymore. We grab our tea from the small stall just outside the arcade. It’s a busy life, but it suits us just fine. We just handle the logs and move on to the next task.
