Smart Hire

Our office is at 47/2 in Shivaji Nagar, right on the Gorai Link Road at Plot Number 57. It is a bit of a trek to get here depending on where you are coming from in the city. The area is quite industrial and busy with trucks and bikes passing by all the time. We work out of a small space that is mostly filled with desks, chairs, and a lot of paper stacks. We spend our days looking at resumes and talking to people on the phone. It gets a bit repetitive, but it is what we do for a living. The walls are a plain color and we have a few folders stacked up in the corners. We started this because we saw many people looking for work and companies needing help. It is not a big corporate setup with lots of departments. Most of the time, it is just us sitting around the computer screen trying to match names with open jobs. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait, which is frustrating when we are busy. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long afternoons. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the road. We don't have fancy marketing or anything like that. We just answer the phone and try to help the people who come to our door every day. It is just a regular office job.
