Sm Technology Components

Our place is at 1790, 5th Main, on the 9th Cross in R.P.C. Layout. Vijayanagar 2nd Stage is a pretty active neighborhood with lots of shops and people. Sm Technology Components has been operating out of this building for some time now. We mainly supply different kinds of technology components to people who need them. The shelves are packed tight with small boxes and labeled plastic containers. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, and sometimes the labels fall off or the ink fades. We spend a good chunk of our day counting small items and packing them into bags for shipping. It’s not very exciting work, but someone has to do it correctly. The office isn't anything special, just some mismatched desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know the parts by heart and can find things quickly. We get a lot of locals dropping in looking for something specific for a project. Sometimes we have it in stock, and sometimes we have to tell them we can't help. We just try to be helpful when we can. The 5th Main gets a bit busy with traffic in the evenings, but it's quiet enough most of the time during the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders right and keep things moving. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way.
