Our workshop is at C-22-1 in the NGEF Ancillary Industrial Estate in Mahadevapura. It’s an older industrial area, so the roads aren't great, but it’s where all the real work happens. We do various bits of fabrication and small-scale manufacturing. The machines are old but they still run fine as long as you oil them regularly and treat them well. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than I do, honestly. We mostly take orders from other factories in the estate who need parts made to a certain size or shape. There’s always a layer of oil and metal dust on everything, so we wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. Mahadevapura has grown so much around us with all the new IT buildings and malls, but inside this estate, it still feels like the old days. We don't have a fancy lobby or even a proper sign sometimes if the wind knocks it down. We just focus on getting the measurements right for the clients. If a part isn't perfect, we do it over until it is. That’s just the way it is here. We don't do much marketing; the work comes to us through word of mouth from other shop owners around here. We’ve been here a long time.
