Skylamps

Skylamps is over in Rajajinagar, specifically at No.9 on the 1st Floor. We are right near the Nandini Hotel, which is a very popular spot around here, so we often smell the food when we open the windows in the afternoon. Our business is all about lighting, so our space is usually filled with different kinds of lamps and fixtures. It can get a bit bright in here sometimes when we are testing things out. Being on the first floor makes it easy for people to drop in without having to deal with too many stairs. Rajajinagar is an old and established part of the city, and we like the vibe of this neighborhood. It feels very grounded and local. We spend a lot of our time talking to people about what kind of lights they need for their homes or small shops. It isn't a high-pressure environment; we mostly just show what we have and explain how they work. Sometimes we have to deal with the logistics of moving fragile glass items, which can be a bit stressful, but we've gotten pretty good at it over the years. The office is a bit cluttered with boxes and bubble wrap most of the time, but that is just the nature of dealing with lamps. We just focus on being helpful to the neighbors and anyone else who finds their way up to our floor looking for a way to brighten up their space.
