Skin Clinic

The Skin Clinic is located right on 1st Main Road in Yeshwanthpur, which is a part of town that never really seems to go quiet. We are at 57/3, and if you know the area, you know how crowded the streets can get with all the shops and people moving about. Our space is pretty straightforward. We have a small desk where we keep the registers and a few rows of chairs for anyone waiting. Usually, the morning starts with us cleaning the glass on the front door because the dust from the road tends to settle everywhere pretty quickly. We see people for all sorts of things, like rashes that won't go away or teenagers worried about their faces. It’s just a regular place where we try to get through the daily list of names. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it has to be so we can actually see what’s going on with someone’s skin. We don’t have a lot of decorations, maybe just a calendar on the wall and some old magazines on the side table that have been there for months. It gets a bit busy around five in the evening when everyone is finishing work and dropping in before they head home. We just keep the fan running and try to make sure everyone gets their turn without waiting too long in the heat. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we do every day in this neighborhood.
