You can find SK Electronix at number 426 on the 24th Main in BTM Layout. This part of Bangalore is always buzzing with energy, and our street is no exception. We have been here for a good while, watching the cafes and shops around us open and close. Our shop is where we handle all sorts of electronics, and it’s usually a bit of a mess with cables, soldering irons, and opened-up devices scattered across the workbenches. Having a sterile, perfect-looking storefront isn't for us. It’s a workshop first and foremost. The shelves are packed with spare parts we’ve kept just in case they are needed for an older model. People from the neighborhood often drop in with things that stopped working, and we spend our time trying to figure out why. The light in the shop is a bit dim towards the back, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on tiny components, which can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours. We usually take a walk down the road in the evening just to get some air and escape the smell of solder. BTM is a lively place to be, and we like being right in the heart of the action on 24th Main. It’s just a regular local business, run by people who actually enjoy taking things apart and seeing how they work.
