Siri Archit

Our office for Siri Archit is on the second floor of No 117/1. We are right above the Liberty showroom on Katriguppe Main Road, which is a pretty easy landmark for most people in Banashankari 3rd Stage. Being on the main road means there is always something going on outside. You can hear the traffic and the people shopping below all day long. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, but they get you where you need to go. Inside, it is mostly just a bunch of desks and drawing boards. We spend a lot of time sitting here figuring out how things should look and fit together. Banashankari is a nice area, even if the traffic gets a bit much in the evenings. We have some plants by the window, though they struggle a bit with the Bangalore dust. Most of our day is spent talking to people or sketching out ideas on paper. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we start talking about the work. It feels like a lived-in space because we are here so many hours a week. There is always a stack of blueprints in the corner that we need to sort through. We just try to keep up with the pace of the neighborhood and get our drawings finished on time for whoever needs them.
