Our office for Singapore Housing Corporation is right in the middle of the action on M G Road. We are based in the Barton Centre, occupying suites 507 and 508 on the 5th floor. Being on M G Road means we are right in the heart of Bangalore's business district. It’s always crowded, always noisy, and there is a lot of energy as soon as you step out of the building. From the 5th floor, we get a decent view of the street below, which is fun to watch when we take a break. We’ve been in Barton Centre for a while now. It’s a well-known building, so people usually don’t have much trouble finding us. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Our office is a functional space where we deal with housing matters and keep our records in order. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve learned how to stay focused despite all the activity outside. We don't have a bunch of marketing people telling us how to sound. We just speak like regular people. The lift in the building can be slow during lunch hours, so we’ve learned to be patient. It’s just part of the daily grind here. We show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else. It’s a good spot to be if you want to feel the pulse of the city while you work.
