It’s a local spot in Tamil Nadu where everyone kind of knows each other. Our work involves a lot of moving parts and being based in a place like this means we have to be resourceful. We aren't some big shiny office in a skyscraper; we are right here on the ground. The daily routine usually involves checking on materials and making sure the crew knows what the plan is for the day. Sometimes the rains in this part of the country make the work difficult, but we find ways to keep things moving. We use simple tools and follow the plans we’ve been given. It’s not always pretty, and the office can get pretty dusty with all the construction going on nearby. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. There is a lot of pride in seeing a project actually get finished after months of staring at drawings. We focus on the physical stuff—digging, pouring, and building. It is straightforward work for people who don't mind getting their hands a bit dirty while getting things built in our district. We stay busy and keep the paperwork to a minimum.
