Imperial Impex sits right at No. 30 Silver Jubilee Park Road. It is directly opposite the Jamia Masjid. On our address, it actually says Opposite Opposite Jamia Masjid Jamia Masjid, which is a bit of a weird repetition, but that is how we write it down. You can hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which gives the place a specific rhythm. Silver Jubilee Park Road is usually packed with people and vendors. It is a very lively part of the neighborhood. Finding a spot for a bike or a car is always a bit of a puzzle. Our building is right in the middle of all that action. Inside Imperial Impex, things are a bit quieter than out on the street. We have our desks set up and we just get on with it. No. 30 is an old building, but it has character. The Jamia Masjid is a good landmark to give people when they are trying to find us for the first time. We spend our hours doing the paperwork and talking to whoever comes in. It’s not a fancy setup. We just have what we need to get the job done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it hasn't happened yet. We are just a local business trying to keep up with the daily pace of Silver Jubilee Park Road. That’s about all there is to know about our location. We like it here despite the noise and the crowded sidewalks. It feels like home after a while.
