Sign Lab

We’ve been here at the City Park area for quite a while now. If you're looking for us, we are right on the first floor over at 12, Old Madras Road. Binnamangala is a busy spot, so it’s easy to miss the entrance if you aren't paying attention. Most days, you'll find us working on different boards or letters for local shops nearby. It gets a bit noisy with the machines running, but that is just how it goes in a workshop. We started Sign Lab because we liked making things with our hands and seeing the results up on a wall somewhere. It is not fancy here. There are scraps of vinyl and metal around the tables most of the time. We try to keep things organized, but when three orders come in at once, the floor gets a little messy. It’s just me and a few others handling the designs and the physical building part of it. We see a lot of people from Indira Nagar coming by to ask about simple signs for their new startups or just a small plaque for a house. Sometimes the traffic outside is a nightmare, which makes deliveries a bit slow, but we manage. You can just walk up the stairs and find us. We usually have some tea around four o'clock if you happen to drop in then. It’s a straightforward setup we have going on.
