Shukur Tyres

Shukur Tyres is right here in Kalasipalyam at number 41395. It’s a busy spot, mostly because there’s always someone needing a tyre changed or a puncture fixed. We’ve got stacks of tyres piled up against the walls and the smell of rubber is pretty strong when you walk in. It’s a dirty job, our hands are usually covered in grease and dust by noon. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with a TV; people just stand around or sit on a bench while we work on their wheels. Kalasipalyam is always moving, so we get a lot of trucks and cars coming through. We’ve been here for years and we’ve seen every kind of wheel problem you can imagine. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage to get under the vehicles anyway. We use the old jacks and the air compressors run almost all day long. It's noisy and can be a bit chaotic when three cars show up at once. We just take them one by one. We don’t do much talking except to tell the customer what’s wrong and how long it’ll take to fix. Most of the people around here know us as the place to go when they’re in a hurry. We stay open until late because that’s when the commercial drivers need us most. It’s just honest, hard work every day.
