Shri Lakshmi Metal Udyog

Shri Lakshmi Metal Udyog is located over in Hebbagodi, Bangalore, right behind the RCPL transport building. It is a busy industrial patch of town. You can usually hear the sound of trucks moving in and out of the transport yard all day long. Our building, Muneshwara Building at number 21, is where we handle all our metal work. It’s a practical space, filled with the smell of iron and the sound of machines. We aren't tucked away in some quiet office park; we are right in the middle of the noise. The floors are concrete and there is always a bit of dust around from the work we do. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but it gets stuffy inside when the machines have been running for hours. We don't have any marketing people or a big sales team. It’s mostly just us and the workers getting the metal ready. We see the truck drivers from the transport company behind us every day when we step out for tea. It’s a very grounded way to work. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and it suits us because the transport links are right there. Dealing with metal is straightforward work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We show up, do the jobs that need doing, and head home when the sun goes down.
