Shreenidhi Printers

You can find us over at 1 West of Chord Road. Shreenidhi Printers has been operating from this little spot for a few years now. The machines are almost always running, so there’s a constant hum in the background while we work. It’s a lot of paper, ink, and getting the settings just right. Sometimes the printers act up, and we spend half the morning fixing a paper jam or figuring out why the colors aren’t coming out right. That’s just the nature of the printing business. We are right by the main road, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. It doesn’t bother us much anymore. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the orders out. It’s a small team here, and we all know what we need to do. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or a glossy catalog to show people. If someone comes in, we just talk about what they need and see if we can do it on our equipment. Most of our day is spent moving boxes or checking proofs. It’s messy work sometimes with the ink getting on our clothes, but we don’t mind. Chord Road is a busy place to be, and there is always someone passing by or dropping in with a last-minute job. We just take it as it comes and try to keep the machines from overheating when the weather gets too warm. It's a living.
