Shreeji Chemicals

Shreeji Chemicals is situated at 10, Samaj Darshan, on the 1st Floor. We are on Parekh Lane in Kandivali West. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always a lot of noise from the street. Our office is just a regular room where we manage all the chemical trading. We don't actually keep the chemicals here in the office, because that wouldn't be safe or practical. We mostly handle the orders and the logistics from this spot. It’s been our base for quite a few years now. The building is older, and the stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying bags. We spend our days talking to factories and suppliers on the phone. It’s a lot of technical stuff, checking grades and quantities for different clients. We aren't trying to be some big industrial giant. We’re just a small company that knows our products well. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and it gets a bit stressful, but that's just the nature of the business in a city like this. We have a few desks and a lot of old ledgers and files stacked up. We don't really use much fancy software; the old ways still work for us. Kandivali is a good place to be because everything is nearby. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We have a small tea break in the afternoon which is usually a nice quiet moment.
