Shree Mahavir Jain Upkaran Bhandar

We've been here at Subhash Chowk for a good while now. Our shop, Shree Mahavir Jain Upkaran Bhandar, sits right on Gopipora Main Road at 10/1221. It’s usually quite busy out there with the traffic and people walking by all day. We handle all sorts of religious items and things people need for their daily rituals and ceremonies. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our sign clearly enough. It isn't a huge place, but we try to keep it organized so people can find what they are looking for without too much trouble. Sometimes the morning gets a bit hectic when everyone stops in at once on their way to work or temple. My brother and I usually handle the counter ourselves. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just keep the shelves stocked with the basics. The weather gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going to stay cool. Most of our neighbors know us by name because we’ve been in this exact spot for years. It’s a solid location in a part of town that never really sleeps. People come in asking for specific things for their homes, and we do what we can to help them out. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of the dust from the road, but that's just part of being on the main road. We don't have a big website, just this physical shop where we spend our days in Gopipora.
