Shree Gita Ginning & Oil Ind.

We've been here on Panchasar Road for quite some time now. Most days start early, before the sun is even really up, just to get the machines warmed up and ready. Shree Gita Ginning & Oil Ind. isn't a fancy place, it’s mostly just a lot of noise and the smell of cotton and seeds filling up the air. We spend our time checking the presses and making sure the oil is flowing like it should. Sometimes a belt breaks or a motor acts up, and we just have to stop everything and fix it right then and there. It gets dusty, especially when the ginning is in full swing. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk near the front where we keep the logs. People come by with their loads, we weigh them, and we get to work. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired and covered in a bit of everything. We just focus on getting the job done before heading home. The road outside can get busy with trucks, but we’re used to it. It’s just how things go around here. Some years are busier than others depending on the crops, but we just take it one day at a time. Nothing too complicated about it, really. Just keeping the machines running and making sure the oil gets into the containers properly. That’s our day.
