We are set up at number 288 in N.S. Palya, right on the Bannerghatta Main Road. If you’ve ever driven down this road, you know the traffic is something else. It never really stops. Our shop is a bit of a haven from all that noise, though the sound of horns still makes it through the door. We spend our days surrounded by ink and pigment. It’s almost impossible to go home without some kind of color on your hands or clothes. We’ve tried wearing aprons, but the ink always finds a way. The building is a simple one, and we use most of the space for storing the heavy drums and containers. It gets quite warm in the back during the summer months, so we usually have a couple of big pedestal fans going all day long. We don't spend much on decorating the place because it just gets covered in dust and ink anyway. Most of our day is spent mixing, measuring, and getting orders ready for the trucks that struggle to find parking on the main road. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first started, with new buildings popping up everywhere, but we just keep doing what we do. We know the local guys who run the shops next door, and we often share a meal or a coffee when things quiet down in the evening. It’s a messy job, but seeing the colors lined up on the shelf is nice.
