Shravanthi Shelters

Our office is sitting right in the middle of Konanakunte, specifically at No.36/3 on 1st Main. Most people who live around here know the Old Bank Colony area quite well, especially the 6th Cross where it can get a little crowded with traffic and bikes. It is a typical Bangalore neighborhood, really. We spend most of our days dealing with the regular tasks that come with running Shravanthi Shelters. It isn’t some fancy high-rise office with big glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular spot where we get our work done. Most mornings start with someone bringing in some tea from the corner shop and then we just sit down to handle whatever is on the desk for that day. The 1st Main road gets pretty busy around school hours, so we try to time our coming and going to avoid the worst of it. It’s a practical place for us because it’s easy for locals to find if they know the landmarks nearby. We’ve stayed here because it just feels right for what we do. Nothing too flashy, just simple walls, some desks, and a lot of papers. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello, or we go out to grab a quick bite at one of the small food joints on the street. That is pretty much the daily life for us here in Bangalore. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us making sure things move along. It’s simple, maybe a bit noisy at times, but it works.
