Shravanee Constructions & Projects

Our base is over at 39/44 on the I E Cross in Remco Layout. It’s a part of Vijayanagar here in Bangalore that’s always got something going on. We handle a variety of construction jobs and projects from this office. It’s a fairly busy place with people coming and going all the time. The layout is pretty quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice for when we actually have to sit down and do some planning. We’ve got a lot of tools and equipment stored in the back, so the place feels a bit like a workshop sometimes. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. Our clothes are usually a bit dusty and our boots are worn out. That’s because we’re actually on the sites most of the time. We’ve been in the 560040 area for a long time and we know the ground here quite well. Most of our team has been together for years. We don't use a lot of fancy software; a lot of things are still written down in notebooks. We just focus on getting the structures built and making sure they’re solid. Sometimes we have to work late to get things finished before the monsoon hits. It’s just the way the construction business goes in Bangalore. We don't make big speeches about our work. We just let the buildings speak for themselves. It’s a practical, hands-on way to make a living.
